You see these feet…they are 100% sock free and that is how I wish things were all the time. Completely, utterly void of you…because, all socks (minus the red ones) suck.

If you haven’t caught on yet, I hate you. I’m sorry but its true. I don’t know when my distaste for you started, but I can tell you it is strong and unwavering.

First of all, I hate how you always disappear when I wash my clothes…no wait, let me take that back..I LOVE how you disappear when I wash my clothes! That is just one less of you that I have to deal with.

Secondly, I particularly dislike you work-sock types. Yeah, you know who you are…the ones with stupid patterns and fit uncomfortably tight on my calves. Yeah, its you who give me the red marks on my legs. And God forbid I decide to wear ankle socks with my dress pants, that is just a little too much for American work culture to handle.

Thirdly, you make my feet hot…and I don’t like hot feet. I want to wear my flip flops 24/7, you make that impossible.

To cut to the chase, I hope you all disappear. Because lately, you have been making my feet miserable.

ah…its the weekend, and I am happy about that. I must say that the work week did go pretty fast though. Looking forward to a fun-filled couple days off. I would like to go to a baseball game…too bad the devil rays suck, and their stadium is a dome. Baseball was meant to be played outside under the sun.

Haven’t quite figured out what Sarah and I are doing tonight, but whatever it is, I’m sure it will be grand. Definetly sleeping in tomorrow…well I will sleep as long as Bailey lets me which is usually about 6am if I’m lucky.

I cleaned my desk (table) at work today. Now it is nice and clean. I like it that way.

 Well, since I don’t seem to have anything mindblowing to write, I will sign off.

I went to the dentist today for a root canal and a crown…the dentist starts drilling away and then says “hmm, I think we can just clean out the decay and get away with not doing a root canal” uh…yeah that sounds great! saved $1000 and some pain.

In other random news, I finished a book that I had been reading…A Long Way Down by Nick Hornby. This is his third book that I’ve read and second book of the summer. Overall it was pretty good, a different kind of book.. but I liked it. Gonna have to go to Barnes and Noble and buy a new one when the money starts flowing in…

Well I have the day off and lots on my honeydoo list, so until next time…

I’ve been really struggling with some things lately…I live in the past. England was so much fun, I wish I was still living there…college was great, I want to go back. I love Michigan, when can I move again. It takes up a lot of my time and consumes me.

 Well, I just got an email from nooma. which is this great video series from Rob Bell (Mars Hill Bible Church pastor) and it has the same title. He is showing the full version of the new video on the nooma myspace site at www.myspace.com/NOOMAmyspace . Check it out, it is really good.

 If I live in the past, then I miss today, and when I wake up it is tomorrow.
